    The "backset" is the distance from the edge of the door to the center of the pre-drilled bore hole in your door. Choose from 2⅜" (standard) or 2¾". Measure carefully to ensure proper fit. A dummy or double dummy does not require a backset measurement.

    Great Product

    I purchased from another site, but if I was to do it again I would purchase directly from the manufacturer. You can tell Ageless Iron is well made as soon as you pull it from the box. Internal mechanics seems robust and should stand the test of time. The black hardware on my white doors looks like a million bucks. Installation was pretty straightforward, but definitely read the instructions and watch the videos.
