While nothing can capture the intricate details of an ornate piece like forged brass, we’ve always admired the bold, rustic styling and solid feel of bronze hardware. In the retail marketplace, solid bronze is priced at a premium. We set out to attain the look and feel of bronze while making it available at a reasonable price point.
The result is Ageless Iron. Drawing on the long tradition of iron hardware, we developed a line that includes a variety of interior set options with matching deadbolts and an entry handleset.
For millennia, iron has been an essential element. Its use pre-dates the classical Roman Empire by over a thousand years. Civilizations flourished and fell as a result of iron weaponry. Yet its use has also catapulted humankind from hunter-gatherer roles, to advancing cultivation of farmland, to building the factories of the industrial revolution.
Each Ageless Iron lockset weighs between 3.5 and 5 pounds. Every piece is made from solid, cast iron. Any wear-points inside the lockset are factory lubricated for long life. Featuring a spring-assisted knob and lever, the robust workmanship evident in these pieces will provide thousands of worry-free cycles of usage.
Pre-mounted knobs and levers make for clean and easy installation and a floating spindle allows for minor trim alignment errors. We have eliminated problem parts such as exposed spindle springs that can jam and set screws which can harm the decorative trim and may often work themselves loose.

Anyone can install Ageless Iron. Two screws hold the lock trim securely to the door, providing minimal need for excess tools or expertise. Each set ships with detailed instructions while additional resources like online videos and a customer service phone line are available.
All Ageless Iron pieces are sand blasted and then deep-cleaned to ensure no particulate matter is left imbedded in the iron. Next the pieces are zinc plated for lasting corrosion protection. Finally, we powder-coat every piece with a coating that has been tested to 12 months of Florida exposure (AAMA2603.02, 6.6.), and is both UV and salt resistant.
